Join us during the First Day Hike on January 1, 2023. Ouabache will offer two hikes: 1 p.m.- Take a First Day Hike around the bison enclosure. The hike will start at the bison enclosure parking lot. The hike will be on an easy gravel surface and will include a stop at the feeding station where guests will be able to observe the American bison up close.

The holiday lights in the campground will stay on one more night for this special walk-through to celebrate New Year’s Day. Meet at campground parking lot at 5:30pm to get a close and personal tour of the Wonderland of Lights displays. This is only a walk-through event no vehicles allowed. Dress for the weather and bring flashlights. Members from the Friends of Ouabache will be available after the walk with information on how to be a part of next year’s Wonderland of Lights and to collect donations to support future years.
