The lawn at Roush Park (925 W Silver) will be full of colorful eggs on Wednesday, April 5th. Come at 5pm to meet some furry farm animals and see the Easter Bunny while you wait for the egg hunt to start. The free children’s egg hunt will begin at 5:30pm sharp (be sure to arrive by5:15pm). Age groups are 4 and under, 5-8, 9 & up. This is a drop in event. Be sure to bring an Easter basket or bag with you to put your eggs in! The free dog egg hunt will be held at Roush Park starting promptly at 5:45pm. Pets must be on a leash at all times. This is a drop in event. Sensory Friendly Easter Egg Hunt Often, the crowds of people and loud noises that can happen at community Easter events and egg hunts can be overwhelming for children with exceptional needs. Bluffton Parks department has created an event that will be less stressful for these individuals and their families to enjoy the Easter activities that so many of us have experienced. Children with various sensory disorders and other special needs are invited to the Bluffton Parks department Sensory friendly Easter egg hunt to enjoy an Easter event just for them, complete with furry farm animals, the Easter Bunny and a subdued Easter-egg hunt. Registration is required for this event by calling or emailing the Bluffton Parks Department at 824-6069 or events@blufftonindiana.gov . For ages 12 and up. The Genealogy / Local History Club is for all knowledge levels. Members help each other, learn new things, and obtain a greater appreciation for local history and genealogy research. Bring your own laptop or share one of ours. This first meeting will be focused on the genealogy and local history resources available here at WCPL. Future meeting topics will be determined by attendee interests.

Join the Nature Lovers Lunch and Learn series at Ouabache State Park sponsored by the Friends of Ouabache. Anyone is welcome to join. Participants are to bring in their own lunch and drink. This presentation defines a food allergy, identifies the signs & symptoms of an allergic reaction, list the most common food allergens, review ways to prevent an allergic reaction, and provides resources for further reference and education.
