Swimming Pool

The Wells Community Swimming Pool is a beautiful facility located at 310 W Spring Street and a local favorite. The facility includes a 50 meter, Olympic-size pool, a giant slide, a small slide, restrooms, changing rooms, and a concession stand, and is ADA accessible. *This is a CASH ONLY facility.*

Wells Community Swimming Pool Information:

  • Hours :  1 pm to 6 pm, weather permitting.
  • Days :  Sunday through Saturday, from late May to early August
  • Admission Costs :
    • Adult (ages 18 and up) :  TBD
    • Youth (ages 3 to 17) :  TBD
    • Babies and Toddlers (ages 2 and under) :  Free with paid Adult purchase
    • Discount Pricing every day - 4 pm to 6 pm :  TBD
    • Lap Swim (adults and teens) - 12 pm to 12:50 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday :  TBD
  • This facility will only accept payment in cash, no credit or debit accepted.
  • Admission ticket packages TBD.
  • The Wells Community Pool is ADA accessible thanks to the generous support of the Wells County Foundation. Pool entries include a pool ramp, a portable aquatic lift, and easy-access stairs.

Pool Rentals

The pool is available for private rentals. The Parks Department takes reservations for the current year beginning in January for the year. Call the Parks Office at 260-824-6069 early as dates fill up quickly.

Once the pool opens for the season, reservations can be requested directly from the Pool Staff at 260-824-1550. View the Current Pool Rental Schedule.

  • Pool Rental Agreement (PDF)
  • Pool Rental Costs (include the giant slide, all lifeguards, and free pavilion use which includes 12 picnic tables, 4 electric outlets, a charcoal grill in the yard outside of the pool, and restrooms in the pool house) :

    • Pool Party with up to 150 guests, Friday through Sunday : TBD
    • Pool Party with over 150 guests, Monday through Thursday : TBD

  • The pavilion can be rented for Cost TBD per day without a pool rental 
  • Logrolling equipment can be rented for an additional $20 per hour

Swim Lessons

Public swim lessons are offered each summer for children who will have finished grades K through 12. Registration for public swim lessons is held each April, with payment due at time of registration. Private swim lessons can also be scheduled 

Splash Pads

The City of Bluffton also maintains two local splash pads, open each year from Memorial Day Weekend to the day after Labor Day. Hours of operation are 11 am to 7 pm.
