Bluffton’s Board of Public Works and Safety resides within the Executive Branch. The Board is the chief administrative body of the City and has control of the day-to-day operations of the following executive departments:
- Police Department
- Fire Department
- Utilities Department (consisting of the acquisition of electrical power and the maintenance of a distribution system, sewage collection and disposal system, the waterworks system, and storm water maintenance and control)
- Street Department
- Building Department
The Board meets on Tuesdays at 4:30 pm in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, located at 128 E Market Street.
Bluffton’s current Board of Works and Public Safety is comprised of the following members:
