Each residence is limited to one 95-gallon bin of trash. You may include small yard waste as long as you do not exceed the limit. If you have more trash than the limit, you may purchase special bags from the City Clerk-Treasurer at City Hall. Ten of these bags, which do not count toward your limit, are $5.00 or $1 each.
Republic Services will not take large piles of construction material, we recommend that you rent a dumpster.
Grass clippings, left in piles, provide harborage for mosquitoes and the decaying grass creates unpleasant odors. Therefore, the City of Bluffton does not pick up lawn grass clippings. National Serv All will accept bagged grass clipping with the regular trash collection in the 95-gallon bin.
Trash must be placed at the curb.
Three weeks during each year the contractor will collect an unlimited bags of trash. They are the weeks proceeding Spring and Fall Clean up and the week after Christmas.
